Bought a pair of wedding shoes for £3 and sold them for £50.

I bought 17 shares of Apple in 2004, which took up all of the money I had in my air trade account at the time.

I think it was around 50 when I bought.

Since then, it's obviously gone up while also having a number of stock splits, including a 7:1 split. 

For most of the time I've held, I reinvested the dividends as well. Now 21 years later, I have almost 1,100 shares worth about 268K.
