What has been circulated as ‘end of modernization’ and ‘bad thing for Cryptos’ could be just another hype from the sensation hungry media.

There are over 2 Billion unbanked people around the world.  That means no access to digital money.  What New York did is to enable these folks to be able to go to a restaurant without access to banks.

What about the Crypto anarchists and those who stay away from online accounts because of fear of hacking?  People live on cash more than we know and to deny them access to basic services in the name of digitization is discrimination.

Some might argue that this is last ditch effort to save cash, as we know it, from going extinct. That could be but the fact remains that more than 99% of people have not touched crypto yet and we have to consider their needa as well.

That is why I think this cashless rule is not a bad thing for Crypto space.
