Travala just added 2.2 million hotels to its database

Have you ever actually used Travala? I've been signed up for ages but I've never used it, mostly because hotel options on the platform are almost always more expensive than they are on Booking.com.

At least in my experience.

Still, that might change, hopefully, because Travala.com, a Booking.com-style platform but with crypto, has just partnered up with Trivago, another ultra-popular global accommodation search engine, which means 2.2 million options are now available on Travala.

Trivago hosts over 2.2 million properties in 190 countries, which means you now have access to those on Travala, plus whatever else was available before.

This also means you can pay for your accommodation in over 100 cryptocurrencies, including of course Bitcoin, and you can also get rewards in AVA, which is more or less Travala's native 'token'.
