A few weeks ago, I shared a Publish0x post in which I complained about not being able to do anything with my SPOT.
I don't wish to sound ungrateful but SPOT is probably the most useless token we've had on Publish0x since I've joined in late 2021. Even Statera was better, because you could easily and cheaply convert it into something else.
As for SPOT, it doesn't really trade anywhere except for Metamask and Uniswap, but swapping to ETH costs a fortune.
In response to my article, a few people pointed out that sooner or later SPOT would be retired, and the remaining tokens that hadn't been sent out of the platform would simply be converted into whatever Publish0x was going to use next.
Well, it looks like that's exactly what's happening.
Publish0x has just announced it will switch to the ETH network entirely, and OP (Optimism) and ETH will be the only two cryptos available for tipping.
I've earned some OP as part of a Coinbase's giveaway and sold it right away.
However, I don't mind OP.
At the time of writing, Publish0x simple superimposed a banner at the top of screen, with a "more info next week" note attached to it.
So, stay tuned, I guess.
