BITCOIN CASH UPGRADES LOCKED IN FOR MAY 2025 IMPLEMENTATION
The 2025 Bitcoin Cash upgrades have been locked in as of November 15 and are set to go live on May 15th, after garnering significant support from BCH stakeholders. Two major proposals, authored by Jason Dreyzehner, will be implemented as part of the upgrade: CHIP 2021–05, which will increase the power of the Bitcoin Cash contract system by replacing poorly-targeted virtual machine limits, and CHIP 2024–07, which will introduce high-precision arithmetic capabilities by increasing the maximum length of virtual machine numbers.

REAPER NFT COLLECTION NOW BRIDGEABLE TO CASHTOKENS
The Reaper NFT collection, originally launched on the SmartBCH (SBCH) network in January 2022, can now be bridged to Bitcoin Cash as CashTokens. A new bridging solution allows holders of Reapers to transfer their digital assets from SBCH to the Bitcoin Cash network, where they will exist as CashTokens. Please note that this bridging process is one-way only, meaning Reapers cannot be returned to SBCH once bridged. The move is expected to breathe new life into the Reaper collection, which was left in need of a solution following the collapse of SBCH.

MILAN (FORMERLY MIRA HURLEY) DISCUSSES BCH AND NANO ON THE BITCOIN CASH PODCAST
Milan, formerly known as Mira Hurley, a well-known pseudonymous crypto advocate, recently appeared on The Bitcoin Cash Podcast to discuss his views on Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and Nano (XNO). Milan shared his thoughts on the benefits and drawbacks of each cryptocurrency, including their technical aspects, use cases, and community dynamics. He also touched on his own experience as a pseudonymous figure in the crypto space and the challenges that come with it. The podcast episode also gives a great overview of Milan’s project NanoGPT, a multiple AI platform that you can use and pay for with BCH among other coins.
BITAUTH AND CHAINGRAPH UPGRADES ALREADY AVAILABLE
In further Bitcoin Cash 2025 upgrade news: The Chaingraph and Bitauth developers have successfully verified the deterministic build of the Bitcoin Cash Node (BCHN) 2025 upgrade pre-release, making the verified version available on Docker Hub. Additionally, the upgrade is now live in Bitauth IDE, allowing developers to experiment with new features such as no opcode limit, larger contracts, 10KB stack items, and high-precision math.
