BITCOIN CASH PODCAST SEEKS FUNDING, PLANS BADGER BURN TO APPEASE CRYPTO GODS

The Bitcoin Cash Podcast is back with a new FundMe campaign, seeking 45 BCH to fund episodes 146–155. The funding will cover research, production, editing, graphics, and distribution. In a unique twist, 0.5 BCH (2.7% of the funds) will be used to purchase and provably burn BADGER tokens on Cauldron.quest, a token earned by time-locking BCH on-chain. This move aims to boost Badger TVL and show goodwill to the Bitcoin Cash community. BITGREE ADDS AMAZON IRELAND, BECAUSE EVERYONE DESERVES TO SPEND BCH

Bitgree.com, the platform that lets you buy stuff with Bitcoin Cash at stores that don’t even know what BCH is, has added support for Amazon Ireland. Now, Irish BCH enthusiasts can create “wishes” for products, specify their desired price (plus shipping), and have other users fulfill those wishes in exchange for BCH. Bitgree uses a multi-signature escrow system to secure funds, and even offers dispute resolution if things go sideways. With support for a growing list of stores including Amazon in the US, Europe and Latin America, plus Mercado Libre, Bitgree is making it easier than ever to spend (or earn) BCH without relying on traditional exchanges. They promise to add many more stores in the near future.

Version 1.12.0 brings UPnP support, allowing automatic port mapping for installs behind NAT firewalls, a boon for those struggling with network configurations. Additionally, the release adds support for bitcoind’s ZMQ hashtx message, improving mempool awareness. Also Included are mempool performance improvements and code quality enhancements. With modern C++20, multi-threading, and cross-platform compatibility, Fulcrum continues to be a drop-in replacement for ElectronX/ElectrumX, now with even easier setup for those pesky firewalls.

DROPSHIP.CASH: BECAUSE EVERYONE LOVES AIRDROPS

Bitcoin Cash developer Mainnet Pat has announced the launch of Dropship.Cash, a new WC2-enabled dApp designed to simplify the process of airdropping BCH and fungible CashTokens. The tool allows users to create custom airdrop lists, load fungible token (FT) and non-fungible token (NFT) holders directly from the blockchain, and implement custom airdrop strategies. According to Mainnet Pat, Dropship.Cash aims to provide a flexible solution for distributing tokens within the Bitcoin Cash ecosystem.
