BCHD BACK ON TRACK
The BCHD team has released its latest upgrade, v0.20.0-rc1, which brings the project back into consensus with the rest of the Bitcoin Cash ecosystem. BCHD is an alternative full node implementation written in Go, designed to provide a reliable and high-powered blockchain server. The software serves blockchain data to lite clients and block explorers, and can also be used to power local wallets. With this upgrade, BCHD rejoins the network as a functional alternative to other Bitcoin Cash node implementations, offering a modular architecture and separation of node and wallet functionality.
ZAPIT CEO AND CTO JOIN FIENDISH & FRIENDS PODCAST TO DISCUSS BCH AND GAMING
The latest episode of the Fiendish & Friends podcast featured Zapit CEO Romit Goswami and CTO Kuldeep Grewal as guests. In the episode, they discussed their experience building a Bitcoin Cash wallet, the challenges they faced, and their decision to expand the wallet’s services to support multiple chains. Goswami and Grewal also talked about Zapit’s gaming platform, which allows users to play games and earn rewards in the form of Zapit Reward Tokens (ZRP).
CHEAPY’S FUNDME.CASH FUND WAS FUNDED!
The Fundme.cash campaign to fund Cheapy’s previous years worth of activities was successfully funded. The goal of 120 BCH was reached with 1 week to spare setting a record on fudme.cash for both the largest campaign to date in both USD and BCH terms as well as the total number of community memebers who turned out to support his work.
