BITCOIN CASH NODE V27.0.0 OUT NOW

The Bitcoin Cash Node (BCHN) team announced the major release of version 27.0.0. This version implements the network upgrade scheduled for May 15, 2024, and introduces the Adaptive Blocksize Limit Algorithm (ABLA) consensus change, along with other enhancements, bugfixes, and performance improvements. BCHN users are advised to update before May 15, 2024, as the older versions will expire on that date. More information about the upgrade can be found on the BCHN website.

BCH APP CREATION TUTORIAL #3 OUT NOW

Mathieu Geukens, a BCH dev, has created the third episode in a series of tutorial videos on how to create apps on Bitcoin Cash. Check out his Youtube channel to get your feet wet making your first BCH app!

CASHSCRIPT V0.10.0-NEXT.0 PRE-RELEASE OUT

CashScript is a high-level programming language that simplifies the creation of smart contracts on the Bitcoin Cash blockchain. This new release simplifies debugging with features like logging and error messages. It also integrates with BitAuth IDE for enhanced debugging. Full release coming soon after further testing. ANOTHER BCH CROWDFUNDING SITE AVAILABLE

The FEX team has introduced donation.cash, a non-profit product that enhances the user experience of FlipStarter, a significant tool in Bitcoin Cash’s history. It’s non-custodial, free, and permissionless, with no fees charged by the FEX team. The platform is currently fundraising for its open-source code and future upgrades. Once the target is met, the code will be open-sourced and funds will be used for platform improvements. The funds won’t be used for profitable projects, with the aim to contribute to BCH’s development.

PAYTACA BREAKS NEW GROUND AT FIESTA HARAYA PCI F2023

The Fiesta Haraya event served as a successful platform for Paytaca and BCH, marking their debut in the National Capital Region and generating substantial interest. Their exhibit resulted in new wallet sign-ups, promising partnerships, fruitful collaborations, and potential investor leads. Paytaca’s CEO, @joemar_taganna, participated in a discussion on how Paytaca can assist the local creative industry by advocating for a BCH based global payment system and enabling artists to capitalize on their digital artworks through NFTs via CashTokens.
