Tutorial videos so far include Nakamario’s ecosystem of BCH tools including Badgers.Cash for decentralized collaboration, FundMe.Cash for transparent crowdfunding, and Cashonize (cashonize.com) — Mathieu Geukens’ lightweight BCH wallet. The initiative provides more resources for developers building on Bitcoin Cash.
SELENE WALLET LAUNCHES 2025 FUNDRAISER WITH AMBITIOUS ROADMAP
The team behind the popular Selene Wallet has launched a new fundraiser seeking 424 BCH to fund development through 2025. The self-custodial BCH wallet, which saw 1,000 monthly active users in 2024 with minimal marketing, plans to add CashConnect/WalletConnect integration, Dark Mode, CashFusion support, and a secret unannounced project. Having already delivered CashTokens and web wallet support in 2024, the team aims to make Selene the most user-friendly onboarding tool for Bitcoin Cash while exploring future monetization through microdonations and NFT sales. Users can track progress via their GitLab or try the wallet on iOS, Android, or web.
SAQIB NOOR TO SHOWCASE JOGS AT BCH BLISS AS COMMUNITY-FUNDED JOURNAL GAINS TRACTION
Saqib Noor will present The Journal of Global Surgery (JoGS) at the BCH Bliss conference, highlighting its innovative community-funded model for equitable scientific publishing. The open-access journal just released a new study on laparoscopic training in Africa and the US, peer-reviewed by scholars in Kenya and Tanzania who received BCH stipends. For just $76 in crowd-funded contributions (accepting micro-payments as small as $0.10), JoGS makes research freely available worldwide while fairly compensating reviewers. The project demonstrates how BCH can free academic publishing by removing traditional paywalls and geographic barriers.
CASHONIZE WALLET V0.3.8 RELEASED WITH KEY UPGRADES BEFORE BCH BLISS
Mathieu Geukens’ Cashonize Wallet has launched its final pre-Bliss update (v0.3.8), introducing QR scan functionality for CashTokens and improved transaction dialog interfaces. The release also enhances WalletConnect stability by properly notifying dApps of failed transactions, while cleaning up dependencies and refining code architecture. Available for Windows, Linux, and Android, this follows v0.3.7’s WalletConnect improvements and optional Cauldron Swap integration.
