EDIT:
Other than saying its digital wallet will be ready for use in the second quarter, there was nothing specific from the company regarding crypto payments during the presentation.
So, nothing on who or what integration, guess I will have to hold on to my bags of UTK for a month or 2-3.
Original article below.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
eBay tried it back in 2014 with BTC payments....they were definitely early then and they are still on time now to integrate crypto payments.
Jamie Iannone, CEO of eBay hinted at a second chance for a crypto integration in a recent interview saying:
eBay has been considering the idea for a long time as the company continues to explore new payment methods. He went on to hint that there could be a crypto-related announcement during eBay’s upcoming investor day on March 10.
He also mentioned the company noticed the growing popularity of NFT buying and selling on the platform.
Now that is all great stuff, but why I marked that 10th of March in my Agenda is because of the gossip.
The Martini Guy mentioned at least twice that the integration used possibly would be Utrust (UTK)

And the coin has not behaved like crazy ever since but has been stable and up since then. Now Utrust is a good coin anyway so I don´t mind holding a bit more of it, but I did double my bag since that announcement hoping that I get lucky today.
Now, why is this not pure shilling by yet another inflated YouTube Ego?
Well, when in 2019 a rumor got out regarding eBay accepting crypto, which was denied by the company, later on there was already a discussion on a 3rd Party involvement....and that 3rd party was indeed Utrust.
This former eBay exec is Utrust CEO Sanja Kon who worked at both eBay and Paypal:
At eBay, she headed the European partnerships strategy, forming key global relationships to enhance the selling experience for eBay professional merchants. At PayPal, her team was in charge of delivering and executing the payment experience solution for marketplace players.
So it just might be that I bought the rumor and will sell the news later today... Or hold a bag of Utrust till they do announce their next great partnership as this is definitely not a bad coin to hold in my opinion.
