U - Understanding 

Once  again he content  this is a deviation from the thoughts  that I wrote when I was diagnosed with Melanoma.  At that time I was focused on a full understanding of my Treatment plan and what may happen if it did not work ... it was emotional to say the least. 

As we in the USA continue to battle Covid I struggle for understanding why the Pandemic has become so political!  

 We are fighting a Public health crisis and there is a learning curve!   Recommendations as we learn are going to evolve.  As a Healthcare provider I am extremely concerned that the USA would pull out of the WHO.  Is there problems? Yes but we need international public health and this for now is what we have.  We, countries need to set aside political differences for the good of all!  

Without Health,  we have nothing!  

Understanding this pandemic in the US will last a very long time and not embracing the advice from Europe. New Zealand and many Asian countries as they are well back to their new norms is beyond me. 

I am sad that we have so many hospitalized and that includes the youth and hospital workers.  In Arizona we are near capacity and yet where is the leadership?  We can wish whatever but the true reality is...  

Understanding we all can make a difference is a gift we can do for others.  Save a life!  Be on board....   

Stop all the political rhetoric!  

Understanding this is about science and being positive, mindful and careful can go a long way!   

Please  stay safe and don’t fall into all the political posturing.  It’s not us vs them, its all of us vs Covid.   We all have brains. Do your research...
