How to earn Leo daily with your Hive Power

Lately, I've been considering my Hive position and seriously considered powering down most of my Hive power to buy up more Hive-engine tokens because that's where the fun's at.

One token that has been on my mind for a while is Leo, and while my 2500 staked Leo is a nice number, I feel like I should be having at least double that amount right now. This is why I considered just powering down almost everything and buying up Leo with it.

However, I decided I won't be powering down my Hive unless a life emergency pops up. This is why I've been so keen to get the dolphin badge and well, I finally got it.

Not one to rest on my laurels for too long, I'm already looking forward to becoming an Orca, although that will take a hell of a long time at my current rate.

Anyway, considering the total supply of Hive in the system and my current position, I find myself earning a lot less on Hive than I do on Leo and even STEM. Perhaps it is a function of my manual curation activities and that annoying curve thing, but curating on Hive-engine front-ends is a lot more rewarding.

This is why when I found out that I could delegate my Hive power to @leo.voter and earn Leo daily, I jumped at the opportunity. I decided to delegate 2000HP to the account and I've been earning slightly more than 0.4 Leo per day.

Now considering that 1 Leo is roughly 2 Hive these days, 2K Hive power is roughly 1K Leo and curating with 1k Leo power will give you around 0.1Leo vote. This means that with the flattened curation curve on Leo, you will need to upvote 8 times at full strength to earn 0.4Leo per day.

Through this means, you get the benefit of curating with Leo but without the stress of actually doing it and you can now focus your voting power on other authors without too much strain on your voting power.
