HIVE games expanded by storm and beside some well established ones like Splinterlands new ones gathered communities around them. From these one there are a few that I was playing consequently - RisingStar and CryptoBrewMaster. But over night the rules of the game changed and unilateral decisions were taken by the game founders - RisingStar forbid alternate accounts and CryptoBrewMaster dropped the Beer price to a fraction from what it was before and what would translate in 1.5 Hive income a day, not is is only 0.15 Hive.

What these games didn't understand and don't yet is that the cryptocurrency games should forbid players to play or take decision over night, but rather have the right mechanisms in place in order to address overuse of the gameplay if needed. Splinterlands understood this and it allows bots or alt accounts only that through its new mechanism of Power Leagues it limits those income and farming. While in the beginning I didn't agree with the Splinterlands decision, now I see the good from it.
Why would somebody forbid anyone from playing a game if he invest money and time into it? Where or not is the same person behind this shouldn't matter because one way or the other this ensures growth. From outside it looks that ones holding this games are either too lazy or they simply don't have the power to put the right mechanics into their games. This is the path to self destruction and to turn a good idea into a fallen project. RisingStar failed the worst at this and seems it doesn't understand the blockchain technology, the decentralization, the empowering of the users and simply the fact that users should be the only ones deciding on their holdings.
CryptoBrewMaster took a radical decision of dropping the Beer sales by x10 and even if I didn't like it might prove the right move to correct the mechanics of the game. While at the moment probably it is not worth the time to play the game based on the beer price, probably things will get better in the future and something great can be build on this.
Guys, please correct your game mechanics, don't ban or restrict players of playing the games. You don't own the players and this is just bad for your game and you should understand this. Put the work, limit the rewards and let the game grow from there. Otherwise, you all are doomed to parish as other did before of you.
