Genesis League Goals - Opening all my packs in the hunt for Gold Foils

In Genesis League Goals the packs opening has been started for almost 2 weeks and with it a rush has started in order to see what you've got out of the 396 cards, both coaches and players. And in these times anyone that wants to increase the chances of reveling Gold Foils have the chance to buy Scout Passes that provide chance boosts to receive such extraordinary NFTs. These boosts start from 15% and last for 2 weeks (period almost over) and then reduce by 1% every week following until pack staking rewards are finished on June 6, 2023. In parallel to this one has the option to keep the packs staked and earn GLX tokens from that or to buy Scout Passes and have greater chances to find Gold Foils. Guess what I did? You are right, I went in and bought Scout Passes and opened all my packs in the first 2 weeks in order to maximize the chances for Gold Foils (15%).

Scout Passes

The beauty of jumping on 635 Scout Passes is that I have used the GLX tokens that I have harvested within the game from SPS staking, GLX staking, Packs staking and also from my Validation Node. This allowed me not to invest again externally and it is one strategy that I hope to pursue going forwards.

Packs opening

I had in total 127 packs which after opening resulted in 635 cards of different rarities and types. As I had bought 635 Scout Passes, I had 15% bonus chance for each card to be a Gold Foil. And I think that I was lucky enough as from the 635 cards I got 75 unique Gold Foils or [81] cumulated Gold Foils. This means that from the Total cards I have 12.75% Gold Foils. Is it good? Is it bad? While I think that without Scout Passes the chance of Gold Foils is standing at 5%, I believe that getting 12.75% Gold Foils from all my cards is pretty good.

My investments in the Genesis League Sports and specifically to Genesis League Goals are standing at around $1,800 through the packs and validation node buy-ins. From that I have recouped $125 by trading some of my GLX yields and probably I will continue doing this in a similar proportion to staking. This should get me in about 1 year or so to have most of my return back and that I can enjoy a free2play play2earn experience.
