CRO just underwent a major re-branding.
What was formally known as crypto.com coin (CRO) is now re-named Cronos (CRO).
This change comes approximately 3 months after the launch of the Cronos Chain network, which according to crypto.com, currently has over 120 DApps.
The network is currently considered to be in "Beta", and aims to "scale DeFi, NFT and Metaverse applications".
With this change, it is clear that crypto.com wants their network to be the star of the show, and shift the focus of their coin away from its already established use-case for end-users that utilize their exchange, and instead emphasize the network they are trying to build.
What do you think of the change?
