I admit the existence of a yeti, why not? For this, the following conditions are necessary:

1. Number of at least hundreds of individuals. If less, the blood-bearing pairing would long ago lead to extinction of the species. Fantasizers, drunkards and those who do not know the forest sometimes assure that they have seen yeti. And they always describe an adult. But usually in nature, the first to come to the children are ruffled cubs - cubs, pigs, kids. And already behind them comes an angry mother. This is usually for mammals anytime, anywhere. Children run and run around, mothers and nannies rush after them. In general, I would rather believe in the story of the "eyewitness" about the meeting with the baby Yeti.

2. The Yeti need a reliable and sufficient fodder base. There are no problems with this. Alpine mountain forests provide shelter and food for a large mammal. They always have a lot of hazel. A nut is just a concentrate of energy and an excellent substitute for animal protein. In the mountain forests barely visited by humans, the Yeti tribe could easily take refuge. Caucasus, Pamir, Tien Shan, Tibet, Hindu Kush, Himalayas, Alps ...

So, I admit the existence of the yeti. But I DO NOT believe in its existence. Because science has accumulated experience of discovering new species. And always between the mention of the encounter of a new creature and its undisputed discovery is a maximum of 5 years. Proof in the form of a living specimen, either a skeleton or a skin.

In the sixties the USSR organized the largest expedition to the Pamirs for the discovery of the Yeti. Hundreds of scientists and thousands of soldiers, rangers and guides from the local year searched for a creature unknown to science. And did not find it.
It was an expedition of Professor Porshnev, under the aegis of the Academy of Sciences. She was followed in the Government, and Mosfilm released the film "Man from Nowhere" about the Yeti in Soviet society.

Mythical yeti must mate for the continuation of the family, give birth and bring up children. Use shelters, eat, write and croak. Where are the traces of this life?

As a rule, yeti seek enthusiasts who in the forest can not track down the squirrel. I understand these men, sometimes I want to relax from the family in the company of friends and a couple of boxes of beer.

But for already 10 years scientists have excellent cameras. Reacting to the movement of objects weighing more than 40 kg. In national parks with their help year-round track the number and migration of animals. So, never yet has such a camera captured the Yeti. The camera is fixed on the tree and disguised. On the trunk grinds the bears of the bears, the tinder of the side of the elk ... But only not the Yeti!

A bear, standing on its hind legs, from a distance can remind a person. Hunters know that a bear without a skin is very much like a person.

Wild people can meet in the forest. Crazy, deserters and criminals. They can have a frightening and unusual appearance.

Scientists crave fame and money. They collect expeditions and check all credible reports about new animals.
In Tyumen (Russia), the government announced a major award for the capture of the local yeti. And no one for the reward and did not come. Although in Siberia there are many excellent hunters and trappers.

Result: I do not believe in an animal that is unknown to science, weighing more than 4 kg. At least on land.
