If we have to talk about the good things we have on Hive, we can keep going all day. There are so many exciting things on Hive that can be good for both end users or builders. For someone getting started on Hive, it can take a while to get used to it but gradually after learning the basics, people can understand how exciting the journey would be on Hive. In this article, I'm going to be talking about some of the best things we have inside our Hive ecosystem.

No fees on transactions

There are very few blockchains that offer no-fees transactions. Some people fear building stuff on Ethereum because of the gas fees. It is very costly to do micro transactions on Ethereum because of the gas fees and many competitive blockchains emerged trying to be a clone of ethereum but by solving the problem of having huge gas fees for transactions. We cannot imagine that Hive has no transaction fees. We have something called Resource Credits system that would need some Hive power but with a very minimal Hive power, anyone can do many free transactions on Hive. Far more better than many blockchains.

20% APR on DeFi investment

Having HBD in savings is a DeFi investment. The reason is because Hive is a decentralized platform and getting a 20% APR from savings is a huge thing. There is no compulsion that we have to hold the funds for months or years. It takes just 3 days to get the funds out of savings and we can enjoy the interest credited to the account every month. This is one of the best stable coin investments out there in the crypto market. I would call this to be the true DeFi investment.

Gaming

Hive is becoming more like a gaming platform with lots of opportunities. Initially it started like a blogging platform but later with all the possibilities to create new projects and games on Hive, this is now becoming a gaming platform where many people have started building their own games on Hive. There will soon be more games to play on different genre.

People still engage with others and interract with others as how they do on other social media platform. The one big difference we have on Hive is that it is fully decentralized and there is full freedom to talk whatever we want and share our views on any topic. Freedom of speech is something that is missing on many blockchains. On Hive there is no censorship and people can express their thoughts freely. There are also many opportunities to grow their network on Hive with more interractions and with the wonderful community we have.

Trading in the internal DEX

Trading can be a thing for many people and that's again one of the best opportunities we have on Hive ecosystem. People can use internal DEX to do some trading. Hive can be converted to HBD and HBD can be converted back to Hive at the right time. With the help of trading, many people are able to grab the opportunites and earn a decent amount of Hive or HBD from trading.

Second layer capabilities

Apart from the main blockchain, we also have second layers on this blockchain. Back then there used to be only one second layer which was Hive engine but now there are a few more emerging. Soon many projects might have their own second layer too. Hive engine has created a great impact by providing a facility to create new tokens and NFTs on Hive. With the help of these NFTs and token capabilites, people are able to build many games and projects on Hive.
