Onboarding is an important thing on Hive. Many people talk about bringing many new people especially big investors and influencers to Hive. This is essential to improve the price of Hive. There are so many great projects on Hive. If we bring people, they will slowly settle down on at least one project or a few and benefit from them. Blogging alone has no hope here. Some people are rewarded very well for blogging and some people don't get any rewards. Quality is subjective here.
Talking to people about multiple opportunities we have on Hive can be a good selling point. Whenever I talk to someone interested in crypto, this is what I do. I talk to them about blogging but if they seem to look less interested, I try to attract them with games we have on Hive and the opportunities they give us. If that is not working out, I try to make them passive investors.

Friends can be a passive investor
If we have some trustable friends whom we trust and they trust us too, we can make them passive investors. It is most welcome to have them as an active investor here but not all the friends would be interested in blogging or playing games on Hive. These two are good ways to engage with the community and make some good friends. But people may not like this type of socializing. In that case, we can come up with methods like passive DeFi investment. Some people would have a lot of money and would be looking for a good avenue to spend their money. Hive can be the best place for them.
It can be initially hard to explain blockchain and Hive to people and even if we say that they can make money, they will not believe us. I will have to end up showing them some proof but it can be done with friends but not with everyone. That's one of the reasons why I suggest picking friends instead of other people because we can show them how much we earn here or some proof and we would also have the patience to explain all these things to them. With strangers, we may not have enough patience to show and explain all these things.

Get the money and invest
I have had some instances where I find it very hard to convince them or make them stay invested. In such cases, I get their money invest it in Hive, and ask them to wait for a few years. At least once or twice in 5 years, there will always be a good opportunity or bull run. I ask my friends to wait patiently for at least another 5 years without asking any questions. They trust me and don't ask me any questions. This is something that can work out for people who don't wish to know more details but would like to invest.
Many people in the real world would always be interested in investing in the crypto world. Fear and ignorance can be a blocker for them. If we can guide them through the way, there is a high chance that they slowly try to learn about crypto and become more active than us.
