Mōrena everybody. Well it has dawned a nice wet spring day here, thank goodness I don't need to be outside in it. We were lucky and had our outdoors team building event yesterday, phew. Still the rains are good, without it the plants don't grow, animals don't get water and the cycle does not continue.
Another special event today is the fact that it is Armistice Day - at 11am on the 11th of November 1918 fighting in World War One ceased. I always try and take a moment at 11am to remember all those that never made it back - this includes a great uncle of mine who was killed in battle in October 1918.
Back to the reason for the post, and sticking with the pirate theme, Oh by the way I heard an interesting piece of theory, which apparently MythBusters proved could be true, the other day. Pirates wore eye patches so they could get one eye used to seeing in the dark, which meant when they went below deck to fight they just switched the patch around and then had perfect dark vision. Interesting theory, who knows the truth.
I hope you all have a great day wherever you are in the world, take care, stay safe.
What do you call a pirate with 3 eyes?
