Why It’s So Challenging To Believe Conspiracy Theorists

By Scott Cunningham | Tech And Things | 28 Jun 2019

While there may be several conspiracies that have a lot of truth to them, I wouldn’t be surprised if the rest were meant to just taint the legitimacy of the real ones. Some people feel they are so obvious they don’t have to be explained and do a major disservice to whatever cause they support. Let me share an example with you. For example, I interview someone from a company and someone says “you’re shilling for that company, don’t you know they are corrupt?” I would respond with no that’s why I’m interviewing them, please share some examples with me so I know what I’ve gotten into. Typically they will respond angrily just insulting me for not agreeing or recognizing their self proclaimed authority on the subject. In this example, the person said something along the lines of “ha, I knew you were a shill!” as if asking for evidence means I am completely opposed to their idea as if asking for evidence is a hostile gesture.

Let me know what you think about this in the comments and whether or not you agree.
