Conscious Attention Is a Form Of Ignorance

By Scott Cunningham | Tech And Things | 17 Sep 2019

Alan Watts had an amazing way of looking at the world and in the web of life, he explains how our conscious attention is really a form of ignorance. I'd like to reiterate this and discuss it with you today.   We filter out so much of what we see and experience that we perceive our own realities to be so radically different from other people when it isn't. This helps explain the differences we don't understand or perceive.

I think it's worth discussing and reflecting upon. What do you think? Let me know what you think about this in the comments below and don’t forget to subscribe!

This is a great playlist of small bits of wisdom from Alan Watts: https://youtu.be/y_I3Iqx8GY0
