Are pseudonyms and avatars necessary? Let's talk about privacy & trust.
The other day someone told me they thought it was disingenuous to use pseudonyms or an avatar. I think this is an interesting conversation to be had. I actually think it's important to have that privacy for many many reasons some of which are it's your right, leaking data, and people living under oppressive governments.
