Ciepło i nareszcie grzybowo

Today, after a stay of over two weeks, we said goodbye to our granddaughter. It has become incredibly quiet, and we’ve found ourselves with plenty of time for our own needs.

Dzisiaj po ponad 2 tygodniach pobytu u nas, pożegnaliśmy naszą wnuczkę. Zrobiło się niesamowicie spokojnie i okazało się że mamy sporo czasu na swoje potrzeby.

So, we headed to the nearby forest for an hour. We weren't disappointed; just as expected, the first mushrooms have appeared following last week's rain.

Poszliśmy więc na godzinkę do pobliskiego lasu. Nie zawiedliśmy się. Zgodnie z przewidywaniami po zeszło tygodniowych opadach deszczu pojawiły się pierwsze grzyby.

There are quite a few of them, though they are all still tiny and small. The most important thing, however, is that they are starting to show up and are all healthy—a rarity in recent years.

Jest ich sporo ale wszystkie są jeszcze malutkie i drobne. Ale najważniejsze jest że się już pojawiają i wszystkie są zdrowe, co jest rzadkością w ostatnich latach.

Tomorrow, we’re heading out mushroom hunting again—for a bit longer than today—followed by more work on the new fence.

Jutro kolejny wypad na grzybobranie, ale nieco dłuższy niż dzisiaj, a potem dalsze prace przy nowym ogrodzeniu.
