Dzisiaj krótki wypad na Jurę

Despite the recent rain, the forest is dry. The forest floor is cracking underfoot. Apart from a few blueberries and red lingonberries, there's nothing. I'll have to forget about mushrooms for now.

Pomimo niedawnych opadów deszczu, w lesie jest susza. Ściółka aż strzela pod nogami. Poza niewielką ilością jagód i czerwonych borówek nie ma nic. O grzybach muszę na razie zapomnieć.

Despite all this, the trip was quite successful, as we had an experimental crew member: our granddaughter. We're preparing her for future camping trips.

Mimo wszystko wypad całkiem udany, bo mieliśmy eksperymentalnego członka załogi, czyli wnuczkę. Przygotowujemy ją po przyszłe wyjazdy pod namiot.

The birds were fed late, but fed nonetheless. Tomorrow will be another hot day; we'll see if the forecast proves accurate.

Ptaszki nakarmione z opóźnieniem, ale nakarmione. Jutro kolejny dzień upałów, zobaczymy czy prognozy się sprawdzą.
