Żar z nieba na chwilę odszedł, zrobiło się przyjemnie

The African heat has finally given us a respite, but only seemingly, as the temperature in my apartment is still higher than outside. It will last for a few days.

Afrykańskie upały wreszcie dały odetchnąć, ale tylko pozornie, bo w mieszkaniu dalej mam wyższą temperaturę niż na zewnątrz. Potrwa to kilka dni.

A fan has become an indispensable accessory in the house. We haven't had one until now because we didn't need it, but over the past few nights it's been absolutely essential and beneficial. I can't imagine a good night's sleep without it.

Niezastąpi0onym rekwizytem w domu stał się wentylator. Do tej pory nie mieliśmy, bo nie był potrzeby, ale ostatnimi nocami był wręcz niezbędny i zbawienny. Bez niego nie wyobrażam sobie spokojnego snu.

The birds showed up today in large numbers. Great tits and grey tits were the most numerous. They all received a batch of peanuts and seemed happy.

Ptaszki dzisiaj pojawiły się w sporej liczbie. Najwięcej było sikorek bogatek i sikorek siwych. Wszystkie otrzymały partię orzeszków i chyba były zadowolone.

Will such African heat return? Apparently, yes.

Czy powrócą jeszcze takie afrykańskie upały? Podobno tak.
