Burzowy, deszczowy czwartek, i niezbyt ciepły

This morning, the weather was very unstable and unstable. It was a bit windy and there were some clouds in the sky, but it finally cleared up enough for me to decide to go for a walk.

Dzisiaj od samego rana pogoda była bardzo niepewna i niestabilna. Trochę wiało, trochę straszyło chmurami, ale w końcu się rozpogodziło na tyle, że postanowiłem wyjść na spacer.

I didn't get to enjoy it for long, because suddenly, out of nowhere, lightning cracked, and a few seconds later, it started raining heavily. I didn't hesitate and headed home.

Długo się nie nacieszyłem, bo nagle nie wiadomo skąd huknął piorun, a kilka sekund później zaczął obficie padać deszcz. Nie zastanawiałem się długo i udałem się do domu.

Once I got back, I stripped off my wet clothes, opened the balcony, and saw the sun. The storm had passed by. I wasn't feeling so lucky today. So I made myself a cup of coffee, waited about 30 minutes, and went for another walk. This time, there were no surprises or rain. It stayed that way for the rest of the day.

Gdy już wróciłem, rozebrałem się z mokrych ubrań, otwarłem balkon i ujrzałem słońce. Burza przeszła bokiem. Nie miałem dzisiaj szczęścia. Zrobiłem sobie więc kawę, odczekałem około 30 minut i ponownie poszedłem na spacer. Tym razem już bez niespodzianek i deszczu. Tak już pozostało do końca dnia.

While walking, I came across what was undoubtedly an old tree. It looks phenomenal. Unfortunately, I don't know what species it is - a larch, or perhaps a dwarf variety of redwood? It's a beautiful specimen.

Podczas spaceru napotkałem niewątpliwie stare drzewo. Wygląda zjawiskowo. Niestety nie wiem co to za gatunek - modrzew, a może jakaś karłowata odmiana sekwoi? Piękny okaz.

The birds are fed, and I even managed a little photo session today with the sparrows and one faithful great tit. I don't know what's happening with the rest of the birds.

Ptaszki nakarmione, nawet udała mi się dzisiaj mała sesja zdjęciowa z wróbelkami i jedną wierną sikorka bogatką. Nie wiem co się dzieje z resztą ptaków.

And in the afternoon, another short walk in the park and then by the pond, but this was mainly for spectacular photos with dark storm clouds in the background.

A po południu jeszcze jeden krótki spacer po parku a potem nad stawem, ale to już głównie dla efektownych zdjęć z burzowymi ciemnymi chmurami w tle.
