Today's and the last edition of Komes beers, which I had the opportunity to taste in a promotional 4-pack. This time it fell on a very strong porter, i.e. Komes quadruple amber.

Dzisiejsza i już ostatnia odsłona piw Komes, które miałem okazję skosztować w promocyjnym 4-paku. Tym razem padło na bardzo mocny porter czyli Komes poczwórne bursztynowe.

This is a strong porter beer. But that's not the most important thing about it. The most important is the production date and the taste of the beer, which gained a different quality through aging. Is it good taste?

To mocne piwo z gatunku porterów. Ale nie to jest w nim najważniejsze. Najbardziej istotna jest data produkcji i smak piwa, który poprzez leżakowanie zyskał inną jakość. Czy to dobry smak?

For people who do not like strongly bitter beers, this drink will not be suitable. I am a fan of bitterness in beer, so this beer is made for me.

Dla osób nie lubiących piw mocno goryczkowych ten trunek będzie nieodpowiedni. Ja jestem zwolennikiem goryczki w piwie, więc to piwo jest dla mnie stworzone.

It is quite strong, because it contains as much as 10% alcohol, but it is not perceptible when consumed. The foam is thick but dissipates quickly. The color of the beer, as in the case of dark beers, is brown.

Jest dość mocne, bo zawiera aż 10% alkoholu, ale nie jest on wyczuwalny podczas spożywania. Piana jest gęsta, ale szybko opada. Kolor piwa, jak w przypadku piw ciemnych, brązowy.

And for those interested. In the promotion, 4 half-liter beers plus a beautiful cup cost less than PLN 20, which is about EUR 4. It's a very good price considering it's a craft brewery and their beers are very good quality.

I jeszcze dla zainteresowanych. W promocji 4 piwa półlitrowe plus piękny puchar kosztowały niecałe 20 zł, czyli około 4 euro. To bardzo dobra cena, biorąc pod uwagę, że to browar rzemieślniczy, a ich piwa są bardzo dobrej jakości.
