We had been eagerly awaiting this warm, sunny day, and it has finally arrived. After a few days of cooler weather, temperatures above 20 degrees feel like a true blessing.

Dzisiejszy dzień, ciepły i słoneczny długo był przez nas wyczekiwany i w końcu nastał. Temperatura powyżej 20 stopni po kilku dniach oziębienia to dosłownie błogosławieństwo.

The first tiny Boletus edulis (penny bun) mushrooms are starting to appear in the forest. There is hope that this is just the beginning and that a major flush will follow soon.

W lesie zaczynają pojawiać się pierwsze młodziutkie borowiki szlachetne. Jest nadzieja, że to dopiero początek i w krótkim czasie nastąpi tak zwany wysyp.

Tomorrow promises to be another very busy day. Our granddaughter is leaving after a 16-day stay—during which she effectively disrupted all our plans—so now we will finally have time to get on with our renovation projects.

Jutro zapowiada się kolejny bardzo pracowity dzień. Po 16 dniach opuszcza nas nasza wnuczka, która skutecznie bombardowała każdy nasz plan. Teraz będziemy mieli czas na realizację planów remontowych.
