Friday not very warm, but pleasant, and it is Friday!

I'm already thinking about tomorrow's camping trip to the Jura Mountains. I'd love to go right now, but unfortunately, that's impossible. For now, I'm content with nature in the park and by the pond.

W głowie mam już jutrzejszy wyjazd na Jurę pod namiot. Najchętniej pojechałbym w tej chwili, ale niestety to niemożliwe. Póki co zadowalam się przyrodą w parku i nad stawem.

Today, after many months away, another of my favorite birds, a nuthatch, showed up. However, he wasn't interested in nuts, only in tapping on the tree trunk and getting worms. I think he'll eventually visit the eatery, as he loves nuts.

Dzisiaj po wielu miesiącach przerwy pojawił się kolejny z moich ptasich ulubieńców, czyli Kowalik. Nie był jednakże zainteresowany orzeszkami, a jedynie stukaniem w pień drzewa i pozyskiwaniem robaczków. Myślę, że z czasem zawita do jadłodajni, bo orzeszki uwielbia.

Summer is in full swing. The cherries in front of my house are already ripe. They may be wild cherries, but the fruit is large and quite tasty.

Lato w pełni. Pod moim domem dojrzały już wiśnie. Niby to tak zwane dziczki, ale owoce są duże i całkiem smaczne.

The linden tree has also faded, and the spherical fruit that a certain species of bug, commonly known as the "Tramwajarz" (Tramway Bug), has appeared. Its proper name is the Wingless Blacksmith (Pyrrhocoris apterus).

Lipa również już przekwitła, i pojawiły się kuliste owoce uwielbiane przez pewien gatunek pluskwiaka o potocznej nazwie "Tramwajarz". Jego nazwa właściwa to Kowal bezskrzydły (Pyrrhocoris apterus).

Well, tomorrow we'll wake up early, have a quick breakfast, coffee, and head into the forest for a few days. I hope that after all this heavy rain, we'll manage to find some edible mushrooms, at least for scrambled eggs at the campsite.

Cóż, jutro wczesna pobudka, szybkie śniadanko, kawka i do lasu na kilka dni. Mam nadzieję, że po tych obfitych opadach uda nam się znaleźć jakieś jadalne grzyby, chociażby do jajecznicy na biwaku.
