Kolejny udany dzień na grzybobraniu

After a successful day in the woods yesterday, where we gathered a good haul of mushrooms, we decided to walk the forest paths again today.

Po wczorajszym udanym dniu w lesie, gdzie zebraliśmy sporą ilość grzybów, postanowiliśmy dzisiaj powtórzyć spacer leśnymi duktami.

We headed to the nearby forest for about an hour once more. The results were even better than yesterday, as we collected significantly more mushrooms.

Ponownie wybraliśmy się do pobliskiego lasu na około godzinę. Ofekt był jeszcze lepszy niż wczoraj, bo uzbieraliśmy znacznie więcej grzybów niż wczoraj.

You can never have too many, though—we have plans for all the mushrooms we gathered, and we don't intend to stop picking. We need to make the most of the season, as the mushroom-picking window might close in just a few days.

Od przybytku głowa nie boli, bo mamy pomysł na wszystkie uzbierane grzyby, i nie zamierzamy przestać zbierać. Sezon trzeba wykorzystać, bo za kilka dni może być już po grzybobraniu.

We plan to dry some mushrooms; we’ve already made soup, and there will be scrambled eggs with mushrooms, mushroom sauce for meat, and pickled mushrooms. We’re also going to jar some soup—a version without cream to serve as a base for the final dish. It’s wonderful because the weather is cooperating. Long may it last.

Mamy w planie suszenie grzybów, zupę już zrobiliśmy, będzie kolejna jajecznica, będzie sos grzybowy do mięsa, będą grzybki w occie i zrobimy zupę do słoików w postaci bez śmietany, jako baza do zupy właściwej. Jest cudownie, bo pogoda dopisuje. Oby tak dalej.
