Hello, I'm Byron from Canada and I draw Zombies. I'm also starting to sell those drawings because I have been drawing and painting zombies for so long that I lost track of how many I have. I used to try to sell the artwork but I've never been very good at it, so it's accumulated and grown into a massive heap that just might be sentient.

A month or two ago I wrote a small article on the art of selling art. Nothing was really said, nothing was done immediately after the article, but the article was written. Reading it again I'm kicking myself for not following up with more art listed for sale.
But that's life right? Always busy, always changing, hard to control and plan.
Well . . . I'm back and more freaked out than ever before and it's time to start blogging like a psycho and shill like a pro, which really does rhyme with psycho. So it's crazy times all around.
Anyways - back to the sales pitch . . . for the Zombie Breaking In painting.

This is a slightly photoshopped version of the original 4" x 6" mixed media painting, which was created in 2009. This is the first painting I ever made that was good enough to convince me that I could make something out of my artistic ability.
Every single painting after this one, for about a year or so, wasn't as good but I kept at it and here we are. 14 years later and this image has been seen in newspapers, on TV, on some label packaging and in every single platform I have tried to infect.

It's my flagship image and I use it all the time. I have very mixed feelings about even trying to sell it, so I put a price on it that would probably change my life a little bit but I'd still regret the sale. Do I truly think my artwork is worth such a hefty price?
Yes I do.
At the same time though, I want to have my art as accessible as possible while also setting a big precedence for value.
If you're one of those that are big into collecting art from living artists, this is the purchase you've been waiting for.

Keep that ko-fi shop bookmarked because I'm going to be dropping more and more artwork there for the next few weeks. If you've had your eye on something of mine for a while, make me an offer. You never know. Otherwise, stay tuned for some great art and great deals for it.
