In this world nothing lasts forever, art is no exception physical works suffer from all sorts of issues inherent in tangible assets. Art degrades over time some art will last 1000s of years while others only a 10s. So how do we improve on this current issue? Simple Blockchain and intangible assets while it might sound counter-intuitive digital files have a far longer life span than physical things if saved correctly.

So, what is the issue?

Physical items gets bashed around, touched and damaged by oxygen, from the moment of creation all physical things lose quality. Not just art but even you are slowly losing entropy even now, matter wants to break apart.

Just as the Blockchain can’t be shut down without every miner being stopped these artworks can’t be lost unless all the nodes on the IPFS are destroyed. One fire in one sever farm is likely a fire in 1000 severs at the exact same time is next to impossible....
