Smiles during the pandemic and how to celebrate International Picnic Day with social distancing

After being busy all week writing the 8 parts StakeCube Advanced Tutorial, it's now time to have a bit of fun and some giggle. Today it's International Picnic Day, a good reason to go out, enjoy the nature and recharge the "batteries" for next week. If the picnic destination is Jellystone Park, don't leave your picnic basket unattended.

Jane Austen’s fans will know that 19th-century picnics were elaborate social occasions, with menus featuring a wide range of cold meats and pies that took days to prepare. The event is now celebrated in many countries, though its origins are uncertain.

Today's celebration must follow the current guidance to prevent the spreading of the Covid-19 virus, so respect social distancing while being out in the community. Eating in the park or by the riverside can be relaxing option for lunch. Walking, biking and walking to a nearby nature spot, and some packed sandwiches are good options to break the routine. Make sure you don't leave any rubbish when leaving, and don't forget to maintain hands hygiene and to use anti-bacterial gel. Group meals should be avoided, if the members are not from the same household.

For those who want to skip the preparing and packing of picnic food, most fast-food chains are now open. If you prefer McDonalds, Burger King or KFC for your outing, check where is the nearest drive-through and chose a near-by destination to eat.
