Hello friends, how is your day going? I hope you're having a nice day, and forgive me for being so absent around here. I don't often have the opportunity to sit down to write or create, although the desire hasn't been lacking. The year isn't going as I had planned, and I haven't been able to draw as much, which makes me a little sad because, as I mentioned, this is a path of endurance and lots of practice.
Today I want to share this small drawing I made. I had been without electricity for more than 18 hours and had finished all my tasks for the day, but I decided to take a moment to let myself flow, just random strokes and be as creative as possible. Honestly, it's not a very big or very pretty and precise drawing, but I really liked the final result. It's one of those rare times when the only tool I used were my fingers, and compared to others I've made this way before, this one is far superior.
On this occasion, I also wanted to try Ibis Paint for the first time because I've always used Photoshop, and I really liked the app, but I missed some layer adjustments that I couldn't find and, above all, the brushes I'm used to. I also wanted to play a lot with lights and reflections, combining the blue of the hair and the paleness of the face with bright orange lights.
Well, that's it. I hope you like my drawing. Honestly, it made me draw again after a long time, and even though it's not a great result, I really enjoyed the process and exploring new tools. Without further ado, I leave you with the result and part of the process. A big greeting and see you next time. Bye!
