Life

By Aerials | Arrow Whispers Poetry Blog | 31 Mar 2020

Grand towers fall to clear the space for others
And seasons change in never-ending twist
And children grow, maturing into mothers
And worlds rotate, and waters turn to mist.

There are no flaws in splendid whorl of living
The Spirit holds both happiness and pain
The meaning is in every form of feeling
In every sound, in every drop of rain.

Then Death comes by - an uninvited stranger
But what’s in death? A passage to elsewhere.
A spark of lore in peacefulness and danger
Will take you far beyond and you will dare

To see what was concealed beneath your fears
Behind the doors so anxiously sealed
When covers fall, you cannot help but hear
The Song of Life by Life itself revealed.
