Behind every great man there is a great woman

2 May 2020 8 minute read 0 comments Aerials

There is an old saying, «Behind every great man there is a great woman.» I will neither argue to destroy it nor try to prove it right. I'd like to look at something else first - at how women use this idea and why. We all come from different walks of...

I just started on Hive and I’m very happy about the engagement factor there. People talk more, comment discussions are great, and one could say it’s just because we get some cents for comments as well, but it seems that people genuinely want to converse and engage with one another and topics of interest. I like both publish and hive, but platforms are very different and suited for different needs and content.

How to Develop Mental Toughness in One Easy Step

Covid-19 death statistics ARE manipulated

27 Apr 2020 Aerials

28 April 2020
Yes, I’ve listened to some doctors speak about this too, the “high-altitude” like symptoms and reactions and that ventilators possibly just make the people die faster... Well, they want to control the blockchain, and crypto, and “private” Internet, this digital dollar thing is supposed to make things easy, but it’s just for tracking people’s activities and transactions, and I do fear that they will try to make ALL crypto and wallets etc. tied to people’s names and biometrics and get rid of those that don’t require any personal info or make their use more difficult

Covid-19 death statistics ARE manipulated

27 Apr 2020 Aerials

28 April 2020
If people knew for sure that 10 people really died from covid where they say 200 or 500 died, it’s a huge difference. Of course 10 dead people is bad and sad too , but when you know it’s 10 and not 500, policies are gonna be different, there won’t be as much fear and panic, etc., people will be less vulnerable to mental and psychological pressure and a bunch of other manipulations... And this “statistic” thing is just a small drop in the ocean of other half-truths and illusions, but all of them are not coincidences - someone (people, entities, corporations, etc) make then happen and all of them lead to certain results. Now who has a say in all of this? Who benefits from it? If we are the participants, how come we don’t know shit and don’t get to decide anything in our own lives - from our belief systems (they are usually taught to us since day one) to the ability to come out of the house (in some countries you can get arrested for not self-isolating) to putting tracking devices or questionable new vaccines into our bodies? I think knowing the truth or at least knowing more - and acting differently as a result - is crucial.

I think Tai Chi is great! Wing Chun too. I practiced Nippon Kempo (it’s a sort of Japanese mma but with more tradition to it, it was kind of aggressive and very straightforward) for about 3 years, and now I am learning pretty much everything I can come across, guided (sort of) by a couple of people who don’t belong to any particular established school but whose roots are mostly in asian and middle-eastern martial arts. When it comes to choosing a particular school which we actually have to go to and practice in a group setting, sparring, etc., or learning from another human being physically being present (as opposed to self-learning)... I would pay much more attention not to style but to WHO the teacher is and how he/she teaches, how their students behave as people, and how they are developed as artists. I completely agree with Bruce Lee’s idea that all “schools” are manifestations of one martial art, and so whatever we choose to learn. it will be useful, any school will be useful if we don’t get “frozen” and stagnated in its rules and traditions instead of becoming more fluid. It’s a bit conflicting to me because I love Japanese martial arts philosophy and traditions, but there it is...

It’s very interesting. I’ve done this and it worked for me. Taking all that so-called “darkness” and dirt and using it as a fuel, consuming it and transforming it into something powerful and pure. I’d say it is more of a male thing (male energy, path, etc.) because of how the body is built and different hormones BUT some women are ok doing that too. In the ancient times, assassins (the real ones, not the movie/game ones) used this beautiful and dangerous method. It can be taken to truly disturbing depths and a human being needs to have great willpower and intent, otherwise when it’s too dirty and too dark, it can consume and destroy that person. PS. I said “bye” to the dogmatic church-directed Christianity one night by burning a candle, dancing naked, and reading a Christian prayer backwards (words and letters backwards and all). It was purely symbolic, one would say, but I literally physically FELT it leave my body.

“Science is the only truth” - then we should tell it to the doctors who administer tests which do not show the presence of coronavirus but give “positive” results... Or maybe to those U.S. scientists who developed experimental hybrid virus in Chinese bats in 2015, which turned out to be highly infections and would cause havoc if it ever escaped the lab... to those scientists who were heavily criticized for doing such unnecessary experiments and creating something that could kill millions I never said that the illness itself is NOT real. I don’t know that. It can be real, but the question is why so much panic, why we are locked up, why they are treating us like a herd of farm animals, why they are censoring lots of stuff on YouTube and such, and many more. I wish science could answer those questions ...

yes, this version of what it can be is on my list of possibilities. Unfortunately, without proof or any social/political power in our own hands we cannot fight it directly. But yes, we can seek information, real experiences, and put the pieces of the puzzle together. And we can also try NOT to panic, work on our own lives, our immune systems, and the safety and protection of our loved ones. We have to develop our survival skills.

Fear, The Living Cloak

I find this familiar to an extent although i didn’t go through any specific obvious horrors like war, famine, torture, etc. It seems that I am now living in an attempt to connect the body, the primal thing that you described, and the mind, make them one and whole, perceiving and acting together. It is difficult. Martial arts and psycho-physical practices help... but require lots of work and dedication Actually I have no idea how far the possibilities go and what level of conscious self-control and wholeness is possible (where you can be totally in contact with your “Beast” but at the same time develop into a fully aware Human - and also keep the ability to survive as “normal” in the regular social world. Human psychic, nerves, and hormones, and the whole organism is a crazy complicated system... But I know there existed practices where people could consciously control their blood chemistry, could stop their heartbeat and breathing, or change body temperature at will... And I constantly feel there is something wrong with us - modern “normal” humans. As if we degraded... became weak, lost all self-control or awareness of our own bodies and minds... and just let everything rule us from a multitude of biochemical reactions inside ourselves to our uncontrollable inner dialogues and whatever else... And I feel like this fear you wrote about... and the fear I mentioned (that is more anxiety and not fear I guess), and the animalistic reactions, and the screaming mind - all these and hundreds of other things are a part of this... “this” whatever it is that’s going on with humans

Living in a flavorless, over-saturated world

30 Mar 2020 Aerials

Yes! We have substituted TV with listening to audio books (Harry Potter now). YouTube is a huge distraction, there are hundreds of channels where people play Roblox and Minecraft, and elementary school kids can sit all day on the couch watching them. It's like an epidemic. I didn't even know it existed until these videos started popping up as "recommended" among all other children's animal and educational videos... And once my daughter (7-year-old) discovered them, she was instantly hooked. Now I have to compete with a bunch of kid and teenage youtubers for her attention, and it's HARD because well, Minecraft seems to be more entertaining and satisfying than the real world :/ Smart devices games is another story. Today we had to delete all the never-ending games from the phone because of which we had screaming fights EVERY day. Now that outside time is very limited due to quarantine, all the dependencies, habits, and behavioral issues got amplified. We got us throwing darts and we are doing other physical games and activities (although currently limited because of the situation with the lockdown). Also we are growing our own veggies, watching insects, etc. I got her a pet tarantula to take care of. More hands-on activities that have to do with the natural world, exploring, growing stuff. Board games are great! What I know for sure is that we can't just take away things from kids (it only leads to defiance and becoming a "mean mom"). We do need to substitute it all with something just as interesting - or even better. And I realize how hard it is for those parents who work a lot or for other reasons cannot physically dedicate hours of time to their children every day. This never ending information and entertainment flow just never stops and wins kids' attention while other activities like drawing, making up their own games and stories, reading, creating something, or even just playing in fresh air isn't as attractive anymore.
