But already in 1938, it began to bear the name of the famous pilot Chkalov. In 1941, it was given back its historical name: Deribasovskaya.

Jose de Ribas lived here. After him, Felix de Ribas lived in the house. It is important to note that the cobblestones for the pavement were brought all the way from Naples. Moreover, the granite was from the lava of Vesuvius.
