Base News: a network Token is finally on the horizon?

Massive rumor Base just dropped in the crypto world! Base, the second-largest Ethereum Layer 2 solution after Arbitrum provided by Cefi exchange Coinbase has officially announced they are exploring launching their own network token. This confirmation came straight from a live stream with their head of ecosystem and is now on their Twitter profile (see bio in following screenshot). This is a huge game-changer for yield farmers and airdrop enthuseasts. Base, a major L2 backed by Coinbase, has been a power player even without its own native token, until now.
