Hiroshima A-Bomb Dome.

As we all know during World War II, atomic bombings of the cities of Hiroshima (August 6, 1945) and Nagasaki (August 9,1945) happened. It also marked the first use of atomic bombs in war. During the bombing in Hiroshima, an estimated 80000 people were killed during the explosions. Three days after that, another bomb was dropped in Nagasaki where an estimated 40000 people were killed and many more would later die because of radiation exposure.

During our educational tour in Hiroshima, we walked around the A-Bomb Dome. We were just allowed outside, with a fence. I took a lot of photos. It was truly a marvelous experience to be able to see and be on the area which I only saw and knew in textbooks.
