My post today is on this nice little app I found on Google Play that lets you mine Nano. The app is called TipNano. It is a decent app but it is hard to find a wallet that accepts small payments or for that matter Nano itself.
With this app you can claim micro Nano every 2 hours. The best part about the app is that you can claim your Nano at anytime. There is no minimum withdraw that you have to claim. I just love this feature. Now if you let your balance build up in the app you are rewarded by getting more Nano with each claim. So, in other words, if you have 20 Nano as your balance in the app your next claim will be worth more than if you withdraw every time you claim.
The biggest problem with this app is that it is hard to find a wallet that accepts such small amounts of Nano. Coinbase does not accept Nano. Coinbox has a Nano spot but the only thing Coinbox allows you to do is to exchange it. Your not allowed to deposit it. Nano is not on Blockchain or Crypto.com. I tried to use Binance.US but it’s been a day and I have still not seen my deposit. So I do not believe I will be using this wallet anymore. I hate to download specialty wallets but I think in this case it is a must. The app recommends Natrium. It is a Nano wallet. It is also found on Google Play.
I feel I must clarify something. I have mutiple wallets for all the crypto things I do. I have a PHT wallet, a coinbase, coinbox, binance.us, and a few others. Trying to keep track of everything really sucks. I try to use only a few. It just seems with every new crypto app I gotta download a new wallet to go with it. I mostly just wait until I have a decent amount then move it to my coinbase wallet. With transfer fees like they are I refuse to do that. So I gotta learn to remember where I keep everything.
TipNano offers other ways to receive Nano than to just claim it. You can watch ad videos every 3 hours, install and play new app games, try out apps, and take surveys. I like the install games features. For playing a game for one minute I get over a thousand micro Nano. I literally got over a thousand points just letting one game load up. Plus there is a referral. You do not need to refer people to join but you can add your friends to receive more Nano.
Just a helpful hint, if your like me and wanna try to use your preexisting wallets first to see if they will work you can change your wallet in the settings part of the app not the withdrawal part. It took me a little bit to find and figure everything out. So hopefully this helps somebody else out.
