A have a friend (real smart guy if you ask me), and he knows that the Crypto market is highly manipulated so what does he do. He religiously follows Whale Alert on Twitter and he watches out for large BTC whale moves to exchanges. He knows what the whales can do, so when he see a large whale move, he simply sells off his holdings and waits for them to dump the price, then he goes in and buys coins cheaper (now you see he is smart). And so two weeks ago when he saw alot of whale activities sending Bitcoin to exchanges, he knew shit was about to go down. He sold off his Bitcoin and waited for prices to dump, and he sure was right (everyone remembers how red the market was last week). To be fair, he did warn me but BTC had gotten to 10k and I thought maybe make a few bucks.
But now I decided to start following Whale Alert on Twitter too and what do I see. Just yesterday alone about 4,000 Bitcoin was transferred from unknown wallets to exchanges. First, 2,000 BTC was transferred from an unknown wallet to Bitstamp walked at $10,691,530 million. While a second transaction of 2,000 BTC was also made from another unknown wallet to OKEx worth around $10,793,818 million. Well what else happens, apart from just BTC other whales if other coins are moving their coins to exchanges (in my opinion) preparing to dump it on the market. Just this morning someone transferred 121,496 ETH from an unknown wallet to Bitfinex worth around $13,123,127 million. Another whale transaction was made from yet another unknown wallet to Bithumb, but this time in XRP. 51,000,000 XRP worth around $7,099,145 million was transferred this morning alone.
What effect do all these have, well as at the time I'm writing this piece, BTC had dropped to below $4.8k and in my opinion when they dump the BTC it will go even lower. For me I think I will adopt my friends strategy, if the prices get to 4k I will buy some BTC definitely at a cheaper price. But one thing you can be sure off is another big dump is coming.
