Faucet and Freebies Updates

Weekend Briefs: Faucets and Freebies Updates (12/11/22)

There have been a few promising updates that have crossed my screen over the last few days. If you've been following along with some of the same projects that I'm tracking, hopefully you've seen some of the same updates, too. Here's a quick rundown of some of this week's changes...

Changes to CoinPayU

On December 6th, CoinPayU announced it had noticed an increase in bots and multiple accounts. Around the same time, I noticed that the minimum payout for most crypto tokens went up by 1000 sats. CoinPayU is still one of my top crypto faucets, so even with the withdrawal increase I'm still hoping to request a payout once every week or so.

KYC Updates for Pi Network

I mentioned a few weeks ago that I was one of the lucky Pi users to get invited and confirmed in the KYC process for the Pi phone mining app. This week, Pi issued a fairly substantive update that indicates the KYC process should be rolling out faster to more users, and fixing previous errors other users had encountered.

EROS ICO Continues On Track

A few weeks ago I posted about the EROS token and platform. This week I noticed that as the EROS ICO public sales are proceeding on schedule, that I'm starting to get some of the tokens from the various bounty options, too. It's exciting to see the coins starting to hit my wallet, and I'm hoping this means the EROS airdrop won't be too far behind. There's still time to sign up for it if you haven't already!

ICYMI: W-9's Due to Uphold by December 9th

Uphold is an exchange you may be familiar with if you're using a variety of play-to-earn or get-paid-to apps or sites. If you are using Uphold in the US, you should have gotten a notification about submitting your W-9 by December 9th. For more information, check out my blog post from earlier this week about the tax changes in the US and how to submit your W-9 to Uphold.
