The moment has finally arrived! Phaver app users who are at Level 3 or Level 4 are now able to claim a free Lens profile if they don't have one already! This is a new feature that has been anticipated over the last few weeks (ever since Joonatan, the CEO of Phaver, announced the upcoming feature) and now has gone into effect starting today.
If you're not familiar with Lens, it's a user-owned decentralized protocol designed specifically with web3 social media in mind. Users who are able to mint one of these Lens profiles are essentially creating an NFT of their social media persona, which can be used to own, control, and monetize their content across the plethora of social media apps being built on Lens. The Lens ecosystem is quite large, and Phaver particularly stands out as one of the platforms that allows users to interact with their product with or without a Lens profile. With a Lens profile, however, users can interact virtually seamlessly with dozens of apps utilizing the protocol.
I *just* made it to level three today on Phaver myself, so the timing could not have been better! If you're just joining Phaver (you can use bonus code "valdyr" when signing up if you'd like), you still can level up relatively quickly - I did a quick run down of how to earn Phaver 'Cred' in my last post on Phaver. So if you were like me and FOMO'ing over a Lens profile, this might be your best, easiest, and quickest way to score your own profile.
