In this short guide we will cover all the steps necessary to be part of the Layer 0 airdrop. You can complete all these tasks with under 10$
Layer 0 enables crosschain swaps, meaning you can buy tokens in one chain and it will show up in the other. These protocols represent the foundational infrastructure, providing enhanced performance, security, and reliability for users. By ensuring seamless node communication, these protocols support scalability, faster transaction speeds, and reduced latency. Consequently, Layer 0 plays a pivotal role in the development and growth of decentralized applications and overall blockchain ecosystem.
I completed the steps through the Arbitrum chain in order to avoid paying crazy ETH fees on ETH mainnet.
- Fund your MetaMask wallet with Arbitrum ETH.
- Go to Balancer here and connect your wallet to buy $STG. It can be any ammount.
- Go here to Stake STG .
- Vote on Stargate DAO proposal snapshot — Visit https://snapshot.org/#/stgdao.eth
- Use the Stargate bridge https://stargate.finance/
6. Bridge with LiquidSwap and TheAptosBridge. For this you will need to download the Pontem extension wallet at https://pontem.network/. Once you are ready, connect the 2 wallets and complete a transfer of any amount.
7. Use the cross chain swap SushiX at https://sushi.com/xswap complete a transaction of any amount.
8. Use their Layer Zero + Circle USDC demo here. For this task you will need to switch your Network in MetaMask to Goerli. Once there if you dont have any testnet ETH and USDC, request some funds fromt he faucet by clicking the buttons under the TRANSFER button.
