Would you pay someone to help you self destruct? Would you pay someone to harm you? Would you pay someone to steal from you? Would you pay someone to lie to you? Would you pay someone to enslave you? 

Maybe if you were out of your mind and have lost all sense of hope and direction. This is basically what we are doing when we participate in a rigged game set up to have the advantage over the people THEY are "claiming" to serve.
