I have been playing Prospectors Grandland for a while now and own a few bits of land in the game.  I bought the land a while ago and used to make a good amount of gold mining various resources on them.  But I know think the game is broke and it needs an update as it is impossible to make anything on it any more unless you have land with gold on it.

For instance, I have a piece of land with stone that can be mined.  But this is the problem, to mine the stone you need a sledgehammer or use your hands.  Forget using your hands it would take years to mine it all as the amount that is mine-able by hand is very small.  Only problem is to buy a sledgehammer costs a minimum of 2190 gold, which is what you use to buy items in the game.  That sledgehammer will give you 100 hours of digging before breaking.  In that time I can dig an average of 2400 gold worth of stone that I can sell on the market for a return of around 210 gold.  Yet if I just deliver things for other people I can earn that in a few hours compared to days of digging stone on my land added to the time it takes to sell it.  What is the point of that?  You can earn more not owning land than owning it.

Its not just stone but many other resources are the same, high cost but low returns.  When the tools you need to play the game cost nearly as much as the resources you get with them then something is seriously wrong with the game.  This is what has happened to a lot of the wax games recently, like Millions on Mars.  But what do you expect when the prices are set by the game players who are trying to get back the money they have wasted building up their plots only to find that its impossible to make your money back.

So if you're thinking of buying land on this game don't waste your money when you can make more without it, you are just wasting your time and money which can be used in games that actually work the way they should.
