Is it worth to use faucets to earn crypto currencies?

I've been dealing with crypto currencies for several years, well before everybody started to invest in bitcoins. The first pages that I discovered were so called faucets. You simply had to enter your wallet address and solve a captcha to get some coins for free. I remember that I was very happy to collect my first coins like that. I also remember that per claim I could get up to 4000 satoshis at the time!

Faucets have survived the crypto boom and also the crypto winter. There are still websites that offer you coins for free just for entering your wallet and solving the captcha. Ok sometimes you also need to close a couple of pop up's or other banners.

My crypto fortune comes 100% from faucets

After a while claiming from faucets, I created my own faucet and in the beginning I was earning quite a lot. Then later more and more people started to create faucets and the market got more difficult. Some ad networks started to ban us and little by little my income became smaller. Faucets allowed me to earn almost 0.5 btc over time. I don't think that I wasted my time...

Is it still worth to claim from faucets?

I believe that bitcoin prices will grow in the future. Especially after the next halving in june 2020. At the moment you can get up to between 5 and 50 satoshis per claim, depending on the faucet. It all comes to the question, how much will these satoshis be worth in the future.

Even after several years, I still claim from about 10 faucets every day and it is always great to get fresh income. I also keep a list with the best paying faucets that I try to keep up to date.

I make around 200'000 satoshis per month just from faucets

Most of you would say that this is not so much but when I was making 1 mio satoshis a month a couple of years ago, people also believed that I was loosing my time...
