Lately, I’ve been watching Toncoin (TON) more closely and if you’ve been tracking its price too you know it’s been a bit of a rollercoaster. Some days it pumps like it’s ready to take over the market and other days it dips hard enough to make you question your life choices. So here’s my honest take on Toncoin's recent price action and where I think it could be heading.

How I First Heard About Toncoin

The first time I came across Toncoin wasn’t from some deep crypto research, it was actually while playing Hamster Kombat. I saw that its token was going to launch on the TON network and that instantly caught my attention.

From Boom to Dip: What Happened?

Rewind to mid-2024 and Toncoin was on fire. It hit an all-time high of $8.25 in June 2024. There was serious hype around Telegram wallet integration and the TON ecosystem seemed to be growing fast.

At that point, some people were even saying Toncoin could be the next BNB . And honestly, that comparison made sense because BNB grew big because of Binance and people saw the same kind of potential with Toncoin. After hearing that, I got excited and bought 1 Ton, thinking maybe one day it could break $50. It felt like getting in early on something big 🥹.

But fast-forward to now, TON is sitting around $2.95, more than 50% down from its peak 📉. After watching it slowly drop, I decided to sell my Ton at around $4. I didn’t want to take a bigger loss and honestly, I’m just waiting to see where it goes next. If it dips more, I might jump back in but for now, I’m watching from the sidelines.

Final Thoughts

I may have first discovered Toncoin through a meme-style game but the more I’ve followed it, the more I believe it’s a serious project. Yes the price dropped but if Toncoin continues evolving, we could see it recover and grow stronger—just like BNB did after its early dips.
