They criticize the West using the very words the West gave them. They denounce oppression with tools
forged in the very tradition they now reject. They want the fruits but rip out the roots.
This is no longer rebellion. It is ingratitude turned into doctrine. When ethics becomes a pose, all that
remains are ruins dressed as virtue.

🏛 The House: Heritage and Foundation

Western civilization has never been without flaws, but its history cannot be reduced to the abuses
committed in its name. It is a structure built through layers, tensions, and successive corrections, where
the pursuit of justice, human dignity, and individual liberty gradually overcame the forces of oppression.
It was here that values like habeas corpus, equality before the law, the separation of church and state,
and freedom of conscience and the press were consolidated along with the rights of women, minorities, and workers.
It was also within this house that the modern idea of universal rights was born not as a privilege of rulers, but as a shield for the governed.
The ethical and legal foundations that sustain today's very concept of human rights were laid here first
and only later recognized in international treaties. Not perfect, but with a rare capacity for self-criticism,
internal reform, and democratic reinvention.

🔁 The Contemporary Paradox

It is within this house that many now rise to denounce it. And they have that right precisely because this
house instituted the freedom that makes it possible.
It was in this space that minorities could be heard, injustice could be named and judged, and the system’s own errors could be made public.
The conceptual, legal, and philosophical tools used today to criticize Western civilization were born
within it. That is why accusing the West as if it were a monolithic and eternally oppressive entity ignores its moral elasticity and institutional capacity for remorse qualities that distinguish it from so many closed, theocratic, or autocratic regimes where power never allows for a mirror.

💢 The Rage: Spitting in the Cradle

There is a kind of criticism that is healthy and necessary, born from the desire to improve the common
house. But there is another, growing kind that has become ideological performance. It does not build it only accuses, and does so with the tools of the house it despises.
This is not constructive rebellion. It is symbolic hostility. The rage of those who grew up under freedoms
they now scorn. The act of spitting in the plate from which one ate not because the food was poisoned, but because it is fashionable to pretend one fasted.
It manifests in sophisticated ways: in abstract language that dissolves morality into rhetoric, in selective outrage that throws stones only at the windows on this side, in the glamorization of anything “against,” even if it comes from overtly repressive systems.

🌳 The Contradiction: They Want the Fruit but Uproot the Roots

It is incoherent to claim to defend more inclusive societies while rejecting the foundations that made them possible. Freedom of thought, respect for human dignity, the valuing of the individual over the coercive collective all these have deep roots in Western spiritual, philosophical, and legal traditions.

And yet:

• They demand justice but relativize goodness;
•Cry for freedom but scorn its spiritual source;
•Cry for freedom but scorn its spiritual source;
•Denounce selective oppressors but remain silent before new tyrants, as long as they speak in the
  name of “progress”;

Wield the language of human rights but drain it of universal meaning, replacing it with identity tribalism.
They use the house’s structure but attempt to demolish its foundations. They want Western ethics
without the principles that make it possible. That is not emancipation. It is negation with totalitarian aspirations.

🔥 This Is No Longer Rebellion It Is Ingratitude Turned Ideology

We have reached a point where criticism is no longer an act of conscience. It has become cultural
negation. The goal is no longer to perfect the house, but to reduce it to ashes to blame it for universal human flaws, and then try to build justice atop the rubble, without memory, without transcendence, without foundation.
They call it emancipation. But what they propose is amputation.
This new ideology wears the costume of virtue but despises inherited virtue. It presents itself as liberating but rejects any objective good. It promises a future but always begins with forgetting.
And when no foundation remains to support the roof, they point to the sky and say: the house collapsed it wasn’t us who brought it down.

✨ What Now?

Rage may be a starting point, but it must never be the destination. True criticism builds.
To criticize the West for failing its own ideals is a sign of demand. To deny the ideals that made it possible is a sign of confusion.
We need rooted criticism one that can distinguish flaws from foundations. That recognizes the house needs reform, not demolition.

That seeks to repair its pillars, not tear them out.
Because only those who know the value of a house fight to preserve it even while demanding it be more just, more beautiful, more livable.
