I write this article to tell my personal experience with the WAX blockchain.
The focus is on the way I discovered the different projects and how I have decided to take part to them.
I won't go into explaining how the blockchain works, which is quite peculiar.
I created my WAX account in April 2021. The discovery of the WAX blockchain happened thanks to Binance. In fact, in April 2021, the TLM token appeared on its launchpad.
Originally the token was present under the name 'Alien Worlds' and this particular name piqued my curiosity.
So, after a short research, I discovered that TLM was the native token of a game on the Wax blockchain and that it was possible to obtain it not only with the Binance launchpad, but also 'playing' (consider that in April the game was almost like a faucet, not particularly funny, but very remunerative).
In less than 3 minutes I created my account on the WAX blockchain, I started to 'play' and to farm TLM even from the binance launchpad.
My path was therefore the following:
Binance launchpad -> Alien Worlds -> WAX Blockchain.
I still play at Alien Worlds, but the most important thing this game did for me was to let me discover its (initially unique) Blockchain.
Here I want to tell you, in a schematic way, which are the games/apps that I use on WAX, hoping they will be interesting for other people:
1. Alien Worlds

Here is my very happy avatar, a male reptiloid.
As already mentioned, I owe the discovery of the entire WAX blockchain to this game. At present I don't spend a lot of time on mining. I have chosen to use tools with rather long charging times (about 30 minutes) and a few times a day I press the 'mine' button. The rewards in the form of TLMs are not very interesting, but the commitment required is also not much. I am attaching a photo of an excel file that I use to keep track of my activity, so as to give you the possibility of the daily TLM income with the current tools.

As for the instruments and the lands where I mine, I leave this photo:

AW however has introduced, for some months now, the possibility of carrying out so-called missions. These give particular NFTs and are more profitable in terms of TLM. We can almost compare them to staking: you 'invest' your TLM to rent ships. After a period of time ranging from 1 to 12 weeks, a reward is obtained in the form of NFTs (1 for each ship chartered and sent on mission) and TLM, which are added to those used to rent the ship, that are returned. I find the TLM rewards obtained in this way particularly interesting. NB: currently the mining part takes place on the wax blockchain, while that of the missions on BSC. It is possible to move TLM between the two blockchains using an AW function called Teleport. The different NFTs obtained are not movable between the two blockchains: those obtained on BSC remain there (and currently do not have a large market and use) and those obtained on WAX themselves remain there (but they have a much more prosperous market).
2. RPlanet
Discovered thanks to a video from YouTube. What got me in this game was its ROI. Currently the game is still under development, but the team behind (WECAN) is a guarantee for me. The main currency of the game is AETHER, whose value has dropped a lot over time. It is obtainable by staking NFTs specific to this project. You can check its performance in relation to WAX from the Alcor exchange. I have currently invested very little in this game. It guarantees me an income of 35k Aether / hr. With the current value this corresponds to less than two WAX per day. I am confident for the next few months because it looks like they will be really loaded with interesting news.
3.Collect.social

This is my favorite platform discovered on the WAX blockchain. Also discovered thanks to YouTube. The idea is simple: by collecting and holding NFTs of some specific projects on WAX, you get rewards in the form of Racoon tokens, these can be periodic or one-off (completely part of the collection). The platform has evolved a lot over time. Initially, you could only collect NFTs and get rewards in Racoon. Now the so-called Gallery has been introduced: a space where each user can buy or rent a slot to exhibit their NFTs and the possibility of completing simple timed puzzles that reward in Racoon. The project is really interesting: I believe that every person with an account on WAX can take a look at it, maybe it turns out that you already have NFTs that will guarantee a certain number of Racoons. I currently earn about 10,000 Racoons a day for a very minimal investment (80% of them thanks to the gallery). I leave my ref link (I don't earn anything except an achievement):

I hope it can be an idea for those approaching the WAX blockchain.
PS: Today is the last day to take advantage of the SocialGood offer, I wrote an article about that:
